Baseball and softball facility rentals, cage rentals, and private training in Damascus Oregon located on the Eastside of Portland. Come take advantage of our cages equipped with pitching machines or rent the pitching lane equipped with pocket radar system and 10in LED display. You can also rent the whole facility for team workouts. Inner nets are retractable to take advantage of the entire space. $40 an hour per lane, $100 an hour for full facility rental. Open Sunday-Thursday 8am to 10pm, Friday and Saturday 8am-11pm

Sunday Hitting League
Sunday hitting league is a 5 week fun and competitive way to keep working on your swing during the winter.
Teams of 3 or 4 players will face off in 9-inning games inside the cage. The cage is marked with scoring zones:
Singles = 1 point
Doubles = 2 points
Triples = 3 points
Home runs = 4 points
You’ll start each at-bat with a 1-and-1 count.
Outs are ground balls, fly balls, or strikeouts.
The team with the most points after 9 innings wins!
Our staff will pitch (batting practice style), so the focus is on hitting, not striking out.
When: Sundays: 2/16, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, and 3/16 (games between 2 PM and 8 PM). Game are 45mins each, only need to attend your game. Schedules will be sent out a week ahead of each Sunday.
On 3/16 we’ll finish with a bracket-style tournament where winners keep playing (up to 4 games)! Prizes for the top 3 teams.

With a team? Register with your team name and all players.
No team? No problem. Register as a "Free Agent," and we’ll place you on a team.

BOOK NOW14x 65 hitting lane with protective L screen for coach/parent pitch and Jr hack attack Baseball pitching machine(throws 70+mph fastballs, right and left-handed curves, sliders, and split fingers) real baseball and softballs, not dimple or synthetic balls, also Jr hack attack softball machine (throws 60+mph fastballs, screwballs, curves drops, and rise) 12in balls. Tees and balls are available.

About Coach Loucks
My name is Matthew Loucks and I'm the owner and operator of Big Dawg Batting. I played multiple sports in my youth but due to a football injury I was unable to further my sports career. Hindsight is, it lead me to my true calling, coaching. I have been involved in baseball/softball for over 25 years now. My youth coach got me into coaching because he said I was always a student of the game. Coaching and training players is my passion and I love every moment I get to spend teaching players, and coaches how to elevate their game while loving and respecting the game as well. I was lucky enough to get to coach all 4 of my children, 2 in baseball, and 2 in softball. 2 of them are still involved in the sport today. 1 is a coach/trainer and the other is a coach and an umpire. I still help coach multiple teams and do private lessons specializing in hitting, catching and infield/outfield glove/footwork.
My oldest daughter Hope, after a very successful career in pitching softball, decided to hang up her cleats and switch paths to start working with kids(special needs children and adults). Her love for the game never ended and as a result she is a pitching coach for a travel team and does private pitching lessons as well. Hope is a fantastic addition to our staff.
